Sustainable tourism measures
·        Conservation effort- managing a conservation area at a cost to the camp
·        Sharing benefits with local community through partnership
·        Commitment to support local people livelihoods- employs about 50 locals. This is large for a camp with 12 beds.
·        Use of low energy bulbs
·        Use of solar energy for lighting of entire camp
·        Use of separate circuit for each unit – e.g. separate solapak for each tent
·        Use of bucket showers as water saving measure
·        Maintains natural gardens
·        Disturbance of wildlife is minimal- no possibility of there being more than two vehicles out on a game drive at any given time
·        Sale of locally reproduced artifacts that benefit local community
·        Support of a community SME, the cultural Boma
·        Employs qualified/certified tour guides
·        No off-road driving
·        Roads works done with hand tools-minimizes erosion
·        Maximizes visitor experience by proving written and oral information, allowing for interaction with local community, flexible itinerary and quality service.
