Equipment - Restaurant facilities offering local & international dishes - guided tours to Rainforest, Kaimosi waterfalls and African villages - tours to Kisumu

Achievements
  • Local NGO
  • only mid range accommodation close to Kakamega Rainforest
Challenges
  • Western Kenya is not receiving many tourists yet and still growing
  • attracting more tourists to the Western Region (last piece of Kenya's only rainforest)
Lessons learnt
  • ecotourism is the new catalyst and growing sector
